As a member of the Accounting team, you will be responsible for deferred revenue, sales reserves, and the associated accounts while partnering with finance, sales, AR, and IT teams. This role will strive for continuous improvement, embrace technology, and collaborate with team members.

You’d be part of a team of three for the revenue team and the greater accounting team of 16. We work hard and celebrate wins! We focus on solutions and help each other to achieve our goals and impact ASP`s growth.
LOCATION
Remote role. Over the past few years our team has expanded to all parts of the United States.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Perform month end closing activities for deferred revenue, revenue recognition, and revenue related reserves. Tasks included but not limited to: journal entries, account reconciliations and supplemental financial reporting schedules
- Partner with commercial team, FP&A and other business process owners to operationalize new sales strategies
- Forecast revenue related balance sheet accounts, mainly deferred revenue that is critical to working capital targets
- Responsible for quarterly revenue cut-off control testing
- Actively support internal and external audit processes with audit compliant documentation and transparent communication
- Report findings and proposals to financial and operational leadership
- Perform ad hoc requests as needed to support business needs and provide various leave coverage
- Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and Fortive Business Systems (FBS) for driving process improvements and automation
WHAT MAKES YOU THE PERFECT FIT
- A minimum of 5 years in accounting, ideally with revenue and in the healthcare industry but not required
- Highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, problem solving and drive for continuous improvement
- A ‘hands on’ work style, comfortable with the detail, and able to move seamlessly between tactical and strategic issues as required
- Positive, enthusiastic team player who can partner with all levels of the organization and work independently
- Proficiency with ERP system(s) (SAP preferred, RAR a plus)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel
