Pinterest is seeking an engineering manager to lead our internal Identity & Access Management team. The team provides solutions for internal access controls, providing tools for engineers to build authentication and authorization into their services and providing solutions for access management to production cloud resources. You will set the direction, drive results for the team to help us build strong, internal access controls for our production infrastructure. We are looking for someone passionate about identity & access management that enjoys working with talented engineers. This individual will help build, nurture and empower the team to support continued growth in their careers. Ideal candidates will have experience designing creative approaches to scale security through automation and communication.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and coach an engineering team building top-notch technology to secure infrastructure
  • Build strong relationship with stakeholders and efficiently deliver on expectations
  • Develop clear and comprehensive technical strategy that teams will execute in order to improve our tools
  • Influence decisions and identify the best path forward through vision, prioritization, and technical leadership
  • Grow and build the team by identifying and recruiting security engineers at all levels

What we’re looking for:

  • Five or more years of experience in security or infrastructure
  • Industry experience in leading teams dedicated to developing and integrating tools within the identity & access management space
  • A thought leader that focuses on efficiency and delivering on expectations
  • Possess a proven track record improving security in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

In-Office Requirement Statement

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times every 6-months and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
