The Role of Marketing Manager – Northern Europe

We are looking for someone to define and deliver the Marketing plan for Northern Europe, with particular focus on the UK and Germany.  This is essentially a field marketing role in which you’ll work closely with our local sales team and be supported by our central marketing team (product marketing, content, digital).

Your Main Responsibilities:

You’ll be expected to figure-out the strategy and tactics, through experimentation and measurement, which will best support our revenue growth plans in the region.  We have a well-established presence in the region, with excellent reference accounts, a network of SI and software partners and an experienced sales team and your role will be to support this team through building pipeline.

Your exact responsibilities will largely be up to you to define but are likely to include:

  • Managing our presence at industry tradeshows (and using a pretty good budget to make an impact through side events)
  • Working very closely with our Systems Integrator (SI) partners and our technology partners on co-marketing campaigns
  • Organising top quality prospect and customer events – think ‘breakfast briefings’ or cocktail evenings – for our target customer profile
  • Working with the digital marketing function to define locally-relevant campaigns and to ensure that the local market context is accurately reflected on all of our digital channels
  • Working with the content and product marketing teams to ensure that our positioning, messaging and content resonate with the local audience
  • Working with the global campaigns and partner marketing team to ensure local activity is aligned with global campaigns to maximise efficiency and impact in-market

Of course, before any of that, you’ll need to develop a deep understanding of our target audience and work with our sales team to determine how best to find and engage our audience – messages, channels and brand.
