For our client, we are seeking a skilled Linux Administrator with expertise in OpenShift, Kubernetes, and cloud management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing RHEL Linux OS, configuring containers, and using automation tools like Ansible.

 

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure RHEL Linux OS and manage clusters (HA).
• Create, modify, and manage users, groups, and volumes.
• Troubleshoot network configurations and OS performance issues.
• Perform daily operations, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Write shell scripts for system administration tasks.
• Administer backup environments and manage NIS or LDAP environments.
• Configure Linux security baselines and manage syslog/logs.
• Handle patching, package administration, and system optimizations.
• Manage Kubernetes components like Services, Pods, and Helm.

 

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and containers.
• Proficiency in RHEL Linux OS installation, configuration, and management.
• Hands-on experience with user/group management, networking, and security hardening.
• Familiarity with SAN, NAS storage, and backup environment administration.
• Experience in patching, capacity planning, and troubleshooting performance issues.
• Ability to write shell scripts and work with YAML.
• Knowledge of security policies and syslog/log management.
