Base Salary: $85,000-$95,000 + Annual Bonus (up to 19% of salary)

[HYBRID] Senior Plant Accountant (accounting exp. within manufacturing req.) Description

Our client is looking for a Sr. Accountant to join their team just outside of La Vergne, TN. Our client has been in business for over 50 years and recently expanded their company internationally. Although they are smaller in headcount, they’re on their way to doubling profits to become a 50-million-dollar company. Reporting to their Controller, you’ll be responsible for supporting full-cycle accounting activities such as month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial analysis. To be chosen for this role, you must have accounting experience in a manufacturing environment with familiarity in cost accounting. You’ll join their Controller and AP & AR Specialist to ensure financial transactions and bookkeeping are streamlined across each subsidiary. You will play a key role in supporting their financial infrastructure and with hybrid flexibility, you will not have to compromise your work/life balance to make a meaningful contribution.

[HYBRID] Senior Plant Accountant (accounting exp. within manufacturing req.) Responsibilities

•    Maintain bank balances spreadsheet and generate cash flow reports for team review
•    Post Work in Progress entries and certify related reports for accounts payable
•    Calculate and process commission payments, including adjustments
•    Keep accurate records of Fixed Assets and calculate depreciation expenses
•    Perform payroll journal entries, reconciliations, and expense allocation calculations 
•    Review intercompany transactions and reporting ensuring compliance
•    Process statements and adjust invoices for accurate P&L reporting
•    Month-end close procedures, including bank reconciliations and financial statement generation
•    Prepare and file various tax documents, including sales tax and 1099 forms
•    Produce variance analyses and written financial reports, summarizing findings for review 
•    Support annual audit processes and help oversee year-end financial closures

[HYBRID] Senior Plant Accountant (accounting exp. within manufacturing req.) Qualifications  

•    Bachelor’s degree required 
•    Manufacturing accounting experience with familiarity in cost accounting required 
•    Experience with financial statement preparation required 
•    Accrual-based accounting experience required 
•    ERP experience required
